Logan after Criminal Intent
In today's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Sunday TVWeek, in anticipation of the now-pushed back CI premiere, there is an front-page article on P-burgh native Jeff Goldblum and his new character, Detective Zach Nichols.

There is also some insight into what happened to Mike Logan, post-season seven.

Nichols arrives following the departure of Det. Mike Logan (Chris Noth), whose absence will be addressed.

"Wheeler mentions something about Logan casually, the level at which he was burnt out," said Robert Nathan, a Johnstown native and the new executive producer for the series' Nichols-Wheeler episodes. "But we'll bring it back in a bigger way later in the season. We'll talk more about where Logan is and why he left and she will begin to reveal some of what she believes is going to happen with Logan."

Nathan said it's too soon to say if viewers will see Logan again on "Criminal Intent" (9 p.m. Friday), but he hopes Noth will come back as a guest star.

For the full article (including sneak peeks at Nichols' backstory and a look into the new season, at least the Nichols/Wheeler half), go here.

Re: One of these days
I liked your icon. My thought was, we're both into smarts. U.N.C.L.E. smarts (Ilya) and street smarts (Logan). What did you think of David McCallum's guest spot on LOCI?

Re: One of these days
I never saw DMcC on CI! Saw him on Mothership, tho.

What I'd love to see McCallum in again is a show on Mystery called Mother Love, with Diana Rigg. Unfortunately not on DVD.
